  1. Why do I need to provide the occupancy information of my organisation’s industrial property?

    • The information submitted will allow JTC to publish aggregated statistics on the amount of available and vacant industrial space in Singapore. These information will assist the government to plan and ensure there are sufficient industrial facilities, as well as businesses to better plan where to locate their business operations.
    • You may visit JTC’s J-SPACE for more information on the statistics that JTC publishes.


  2. Is it compulsory to submit the occupancy survey return?

    • The occupancy survey is conducted under Section 35A of the Jurong Town Corporation Act (Cap. 150) which requires all individuals and establishments to furnish the necessary information. Please be assured that the information you provide will be treated with strict confidentiality in accordance to the Jurong Town Corporation Act.


  3. How do you ensure that the information submitted by me is kept confidential?

    • The occupancy survey is conducted under Section 35A of the Jurong Town Corporation Act (Cap. 150). Responses provided for the surveys are treated with strict confidentiality in accordance to the Jurong Town Corporation Act. All information collected will be used solely for statistical purposes.
